Who is Bergvich?
A UK packaging brand making honeycomb wrap, kraft paper and void fill from 100% recycled fibre at a British mill. Bergvich is a trading name of HDS Innovation Limited (company no. 16623018), registered in London, and sister brand to Bergmis, our home & care range.
Is your packaging really recyclable?
Yes. Everything we sell is pure kraft paper with no plastic coating, so it all goes in normal kerbside paper/cardboard recycling. It's made from 100% recycled fibre in the first place.
Where is it made?
In the United Kingdom. The paper is milled from recycled British fibre, then cut and rolled to our specification here, not imported by container.
What if my product arrives damaged or faulty?
Start a return via Amazon if you're inside the returns window. Outside it, email us with your order number and a photo, and we'll sort a replacement or refund directly.
How do deliveries work?
Every order is fulfilled by Amazon from their UK warehouses, with Prime delivery where you have it and tracking in Your Orders in your Amazon account.
How do returns and refunds work?
Amazon's standard returns policy applies to every Bergvich purchase. Start it from Your Orders; it's the fastest route, no need to contact us first.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Bergvich also sells on Amazon's European marketplaces. For UK orders, buy from Amazon.co.uk; for trade shipments elsewhere, talk to us directly.
Why do you sell through Amazon UK?
It's genuinely the best infrastructure for fast delivery and no-fuss returns. Find every product on our storefront.
Are the prices on this site the final prices?
Prices shown here are RRPs. Amazon runs its own promotions and deals, so the live listing is always the price you'll actually pay, and often lower.
How do I find all Bergvich products on Amazon?
Visit our Amazon storefront: every live product and size in one place, or use the Buy buttons on each product page here.
Can I buy Bergvich at trade volume?
Yes. E-commerce brands, removal firms, 3PLs and retailers order directly from us at carton and pallet quantities. Start on the wholesale page.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum for a first conversation. Tell us products and rough volumes; we'll come back within one working day with pricing and lead times.
Can you do custom lengths or mixed pallets?
For regular orders, yes. UK manufacture makes custom runs and mixed pallets much easier than imported stock allows. Ask us.
Do you invoice properly for business purchases?
Yes. Proper UK invoicing from HDS Innovation Limited, with VAT handled correctly.
Is honeycomb paper really as protective as bubble wrap?
For household moves and shipping, yes. The expanded cells absorb knocks and keep gripping even when the box is shaken. Our most-liked review is literally titled "Better than bubble wrap": nothing broken across a full house move.
How do I use it? Do I need tape?
Pull the paper so the cells expand, wrap the item, and tuck the end; the cells interlock and hold themselves closed. No tape, no scissors, roughly half the time bubble wrap takes.
Which length should I buy?
A 30m roll handles a few boxes of kitchenware; 50m suits a one-bed flat move; 100m a family house move; 250m is for regular senders, and works out at 14p a metre versus 48p on the smallest roll.
How much does it stretch?
Up to 160% of its rolled length: a 50m roll gives you as much as 85m of usable wrap once expanded.
Can I recycle it afterwards?
Yes. It's pure kraft paper, so the whole lot goes in kerbside paper recycling. No separating, no plastic layer.
Which width do I need?
500mm covers everyday parcels and gift wrap; 750mm suits bigger boxes and hampers; 900mm handles furniture wrapping, table runs and workbench lining. All three are 100m long.
What does 90gsm actually mean?
Grams per square metre: paper weight. Most parcel paper is 70–80gsm; at 90gsm ours is noticeably thicker, so corners don't punch through and it doesn't tear mid-wrap.
Will it fit my paper dispenser?
The rolls are clean-cut to standard dimensions and drop into standard kraft dispensers and cutter stands for one-hand tearing.
Is it just for parcels?
It's also used for gift wrap, box lining, void fill (scrunched), table covering, art projects and flower wrapping; one roll tends to end up doing all of them.
Is it recycled and recyclable?
Both. Made from 100% recycled fibre at a UK mill, and it goes back in kerbside recycling after use.
How does the coreless centre-pull design work?
The roll has no cardboard core; the paper feeds from the centre of the roll, through the opening in the box. Pull what you need, tear, scrunch. No tangles, no waste, and the box keeps the roll clean.
How long does 300 metres last?
For a small online shop packing a few parcels a day, months. One reviewer selling online put it simply: "lasts forever".
Does scrunched paper really protect like air pillows?
Yes. At 80gsm the paper holds its scrunch instead of flattening, so items stay wedged. It's the same swap thousands of UK e-commerce brands have already made, minus the plastic.
How big is the dispenser box?
23 × 23 × 37cm, small enough for a desk or packing bench, and the box itself recycles when the roll is done.
